Welcome to Williamstown and the beautiful Berkshires!

Established in 1980. The Library sits in the heart of the shopping district of Williamstown, Massachusetts. Proprieters Ed and Meim Fauteux are long time residents of this picturesque hamlet set in the northern Berkshires.

The Library can be found in the heart of Williamstown, Massachusetts' artistic center. Nestled in the northern Berkshires, Williamstown rests at the foot of Mount Greylock, not far from the Vermont and New York borders. The village boasts the residence of a top liberal arts college as well as an abundance of small town New England charm interlaced with world renowned culture. Known as "The Village Beautiful," Williamstown was ranked as the 18th best American Small Town in Norman Crampton's The 100 Best Small Towns in America.

Williamstown offers a myriad of cultural and artistic flair ranging from the world famous Williams College Museum of Art and the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute to Spring and Water Streets which provides visitors an array of antique and specialty shops. The outdoors is no exception, the region offers the Taconic Trail State Park, Bullock Forest, Hopkins Memorial Forest and the Mohawk Trail. Winter in Williamstown offers some of the best skiing in the area and the summer welcomes the Williamstown Theater Festival.
