"Dance Class" DANILOV, Konstantin Alexandrovich (1906-1976) Born in Penza, in the Russian Federation, graduated from Penza Art College in 1927 where he studied under I.Goryushkin-Sorokopudov. Danilov taught painting and drawing in the City Palace of Culture in Penza and participated in city and regional exhibitions. After a period in the army during the Second World War, he became the official painter of Perm Academician Opera and Ballet Theatre where he remained until 1970. In 1950 he was named a member of the Union of Russia theatre workers and an Honorable worker of Culture.
