Our collection of Quimper ceramics dates from the last third of the 19th century to the 1940s.
This stunning piece is in mint condition and dates from around 1920. Decor Riche refers to pieces that were produced within a specific studio of the Henriot factory, the studio that employed the most accomplished artists. This studio was known as the "atelier decor riche." The vase is decorated all over with brilliant arabesque designs and has two cartouches, one with a painting of a man in pantaloons holding a cane, the other with a spray of yellow flowers. Signed HB Quimper under the painting of the man and HB Quimper 148 on the bottom.
