Description:
A pair of small metal painted vases with a chrysanthemum design etched in gold around three sides of each one. The fourth side is plain red. Both are marked on the bottom: Made by Hand in Occupied Japan, Maruni, Patented, Lacquerware, Metal Base. The surface is in very good condition with a few tiny spots of paint loss on each vase.
