Description:
Hand made and hand painted Anglo-Indian clay figures depicting life in India in the second half of the 19th century. One figure is a merchant with a magnificent mustache who seems to be carrying a fly whisk, the other is a man with a knife at his belt. Both legs of the merchant have been repaired and the other figure has a chip in his turban.
